Zeb and Sayer's story is so beautiful, and full of hope and redemption. I love it when authors step outside of the familiar and write something different than their fans expect of them. This book is a step in a different direction for Jay-it's more Contemporary than New Adult. She takes this step beautifully, with characters who will make you not just root for them, but stand up and cheer when they succeed, and want to reach into the book and hold their hand when they're struggling. I am in awe of how this wonderful author just keeps topping herself, and writing characters who transcend what is expected and take me on a journey that is beyond what I could've hoped for. I love it when characters have to work for the ending they both deserve, because it means even more when they get to that place. This book is the start to a new series that will flip what we all expect on its head, and I for one, could not be happier about it!
